Management of 5 employees working with SAP configuration and production support

o    Responsibilities

§  Supporting production issues with  24x7 on call schedules

§  Change requests i.e. New business requirements turning  into integrated solutions across multiple legacy systems (Tibco, Logpro, Salesforce.com, E-commerce)

§  Managing multiple projects with tight deadlines, limited resources and conflicting priorities

§  Optimize and refine the SAP system by implementing new processes and design.

§  Insure business involvement in any changes

o    Accomplishments

§  Customer conversion for Heinemann using Back Office Associates

§  Integrated Harcourt business into existing production

§  Stabilized (fixing bugs and design issues) the go-live November 2006

§  Removing customized solutions and bringing back Standard SAP

§  Implemented a tool for R/3 order entry monitoring and reporting (ZOTCM), which is used by 800 plus users      

§  Added one division( Division 25 in SAP (Riverdeep)

§  Reduced the number of screens during order entry (new order types, ATP, Text Pop-Up). Reduced the time entering an order 50 %.

§  Removed Batch Configuration which by itself was a week-end long project with SAP support

§  Implemented Consignment Processing

§  Improved incomplete EDI orders due to incorrect ISBN by introducing a service material number.

§  Implemented Winshuttle, a user friendly tool to get data into SAP

§  Trained the team to be able to handle all of the above without adding any new resources

§  OTS process is the most visible and most enhanced process during my engagement here
